Instructions for Society of Illustrators Student Show Submissions

For all those who plan on entering, here are the specifications for the SOI competition:

THE DEADLINE IS FEB 4TH, but please do not wait until then to turn in your work.

All submissions should go to the IL office (F316A) Monday, Feb. 2 in order to have time to process and assemble the department's submissions.  

Instructions for Entries:

images for jurying:

72dpi, rgb,saved as a jpg at 500 pixels on the longest side (horizontal or vertical)

(NOTE: you will need to submit a high res version at 300dpi if your piece has been accepted)

please make sure your file names include your last name, a descriptive title and the piece number

example: smith_sunset_02.jpg

entry fees:

$5 per entry, cash or check

please make checks out to MICA

information to include:

in addition to your images, please provide the following information for your pieces either hardcopy (legible!) or as a Word doc on disc:

Piece number

Name of piece

Name of instructor

Medium (all media used to create the work)
